Candle Bay, GREAT! Anne Rice give it up, your not even in the same league as Tamara Thorne! Can we expect more on Amanda & Stephen? How about Ivor! Hope so, can't wait! Keep on typing!

LOL. I'm not in Anne Rice's league -- I lack the Serious Gene -- but thank you! Eventually, there will be a sequel to Candle Bay and then maybe we'll find out what Stephen and Amanda are up to. I don't even know yet. . . However, I know what Julian and the twins are about to do. . .

I recently purchased sorority eve, read it in 1 day, ran out and bought the 2 nd one, after panicking looking for it, and then drove an hour looking for more! I am completely addicted. I can't wait to go shopping tomorrow to buy more. I am reading the sorority samantha, but I will finish that tonight. Thanks for the best read ever!!! I can't wait for more!

Thanks, Ann. My webmaster is a genius, I'm in her thrall. She can be reached at webmaster@tamarathorne.com for inquiries. I'll certainly look at your site. Do you have Horror Baskets? If so, what's in them? The possibilites are endlessly gruesome!:-P

Took me 2 days to read The Soroity of Eve. Can't wait to start the others. Looking forward to try and find your olders books. You have a new fan.

Just finished the first of the triology, Eve was wonderful! I am currently half way through Merilynn. I just wanted to say I bought Candle Bay, and that started my addiction to your books. I just wanted to say how much I have enjoyed them! Thank you for the great reads!:)

I've always HATED reading! It always put me to sleep. But I happen to be at Wal-Mart one night, and there was a book that caught my eye.(The Sorority Eve) So I bought it and I couldn't put it down. I read it in 2 days. It was a great book! I just found out on this site, that theres 2 more Sorority series. I can't wait to read them also! Keep up the good work Tamara. Your my new fav. author!!!

i just finished the trilogy books. are you planning on doing any other series?

Response posted: 9/3/2003 by Tamara
Thanks for writing, Karen. The Sorority is really a serial novel, not a series. I never know what I might do in the future. There will probably be a Candle Bay sequel, and I think maybe Merilynn and her familiar might merit a book of their own. Never say never!

I picked up your book Eve at a used book store. I later ran to Chapters & picked up Merilynn, Samantha, & I couldn't resist Forgotten also. I' m hooked! Kris

You write good stories but as a ghost hunter yourself i feel you quote thow good but with a quote like this why do you hunt ghosts? Father says sometimes you just have to accept that things exist or that things happen, and accept you'll never know why. -Merilynn Morris The Sorority Marilynn book page:20 lines:14-17 (c) 2003 Tamara Thorne I feel for your work you should a more open quote like mine because of your work as well. "The reason we must except the fact that we things happen and that we will never know the answer is because we stop, never start, or don't explore all possibilities to the fullist, and end prosparity a little more for ourselves and the world because we feal that the answer is not there to be found." Outherwise i like the book and can't wait to finish it. ps. plese do not post this thought.

I'm not Merilynn. Never confuse the writer with the characters! Although I can't say I don't partially agree with that statement. The science is pleasing, but the joy of exploring the unknown is that it restores a sense of wonder.

I wrote an amateur book review on Bad Things, trust me you can tell its amateur ...I will come back here & let you know when its posted ...it is set to eventually appear @gdarkness ...i love your work hence the review reads more like advertising than a review. The lawn mower scene...that was beauty ...here the guy is terrified the whole boook then ...he just rips ole Jack a new one !-great stuff, thanx for the escapism.

Just finished reading the Triolgy, "The Soroity"! I LOVED IT! Can't wait for your next novel coming out next year. Thanks so much for the great summer read/entertainment, even for a 50 year old guy!. This one should definitely be made into a film! Keep those thrillers coming!

Hi, Tamara! I'm a young fan of yours, by the way... I was in the library checking out some horror novels and I saw "Bad Things". So I checked it out along with some other books and brought it home.. to tell you the truth, it just sat there while I read another book that was totally boring. Then I was like, "hmm, I forgot about 'bad things', lemme check it out..." and I read it, and let me tell you, it was one hell of a good book! I couldn't stop reading it! You are an amazing writer and I can't wait to read more of your books!! Keep up the good work! - Kel m/

Tamara, I love you sorority books. I read eve in one day! I just got Merilynn today and can't wait to start it. I'm already looking forward to getting Samantha. It is so hard to find a good book these days, so many people don't know how to tell a story. You do not have that problem! Thank you for hours of great reading!!!!

Mrs. Thorne you are a great horror writer. The reason why I started reading your books is beacause Stephen King got hurt and did not write for a while. I started reading his books when I was 12. IT was the first book. When he could not write I tried to find something else. That was when I spotted ETERNITY. The cover page and the back cover preview is what hooked me. It reminded me of King But you have your own style. Since then I have read CANDLE BAY(terrific vampire story), BAD THINGS(where did that come from), THE FORGOTTEN(ending was weak to me), and MOONFALL(awesome). I have also read your first 2 sorority books. Halfway thru the last one. There were great. I cant find The HAUNTED anywhere but still looking. Igreatly enjoy you putting stuff from one into another(talking about greenjacks in the trilogy and the sisters of moonfall). You do an excellent job. You need more inmy opinion. Just wonderful keep it up

You can always ask a major bookstore to order any of my books -- they're all in print. Costs nothing. Or order from an online store like www.amazon.com, or if you like 'em signed, write to darkdel@darkdel.com, my pet specialty store.
